Module 1 - Chapter 7

Describing People & Things

Learn to describe everything around you with colorful adjectives!

Introduction

The Power of Description

Imagine a world where you could only say "person" or "thing" without describing them. How boring! Adjectives are like paint colors - they add detail, beauty, and meaning to everything we talk about.

With adjectives, "a dog" becomes "a big, friendly, brown dog" and "a day" becomes "a sunny, beautiful, perfect day"!

Why Learn Adjectives?

  • Express Yourself: Say exactly what you mean
  • Tell Better Stories: Make your stories come alive
  • Make Friends: Give compliments and describe feelings
  • Be Specific: Help others understand you perfectly

What are Adjectives?

Adjectives are describing words. They tell us more about nouns (people, places, or things).
