Every question starts with a special word. These are called "Question Words" or "Wh-Words" (because most of them start with "Wh"). Let's learn all about them!

The 6 Question Words

Use "What" to ask about things, names, or actions.

Use "Who" to ask about people.

Use "Where" to ask about places and locations.

Use "Why" to ask for reasons. Answers usually start with "because".
